The European Commission has allocated the funds for the production of a full-length movie that Showbiz is going to make in June 2010, director Matteo Vicino. Here you can read the press release. The project will be presented by Italian Home Secretary Roberto Maroni, Chief of Italian Police Antonio Manganelli and the vice president of the European Commission Antonio Tajani.
The basic idea is that the increasing harmonization of traffic rules in Europe, made possible by the Commission and other European agencies, reflects a common feeling, a shared european language on road safety and a common ground for the education of all youth in Europe.
Three international meetings in Rome, Ljubljana and Brussels and a full-length movie called Young Europe, that will take place in four different European countries, will complete a project that involves the young people and wants to see them as protagonists at every step of the way: recipient of research and education, active roles in the search of a common european language on road safety and a powerful link to build a genuine relationship between young people and Europe.
